Blu-ray

A colleague shared some info about Blu-ray.

It is quite fascinating. Blu-ray is a disc that uses blue-violet laser instead of red ones. With a storage capacity of a whopping 25GB per disc, it is quite a revolution. Also because it is hard coated, so by any chance you could use this as a frisbee if you get bored.

DVD, on the other hand will not be easily replaced. Cause of Blu-ray's high cost and the transition complexity from DVD to Blu-ray, seems that these DVD guys would hang out for awhile.

Well, I'll just wait till the price drops. Perhaps sometime next year, who knows?
